Soha Ali Khan has opened up about her bond with sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, revealing that their relationship took time to grow but has now blossomed into a strong friendship. She also commented
on Kareena’s ‘industry’s gossiper’ image.
Soha Ali Khan spoke about Kareena Kapoor Khan, stating that their bond is “truly unbreakable.” “We are more friends than sister-in-laws,” Soha told Zoom, highlighting how their connection evolved over the years.
Talking about Kareena’s popular image as the “gossip queen” of Bollywood, Soha laughed and said, “She is definitely, definitely, a source of wealth of information that she has, I don’t know how. If I want to know something, even at 12 o’clock, I will ask her. But she’s also very protective of her sources—she will only tell what she is willing to share. There is so much more about her that is wonderful, there’s much more than gossip.”
Recalling her first impression of Kareena, Soha admitted she was a little intimidated. “I just remember my brother calling me when we were shooting something, and he said, ‘I want you to know that my girlfriend is two years younger than you.’ That was my introduction. And of course, when you meet a superstar, you have certain preconceptions. But I’m not someone who judges without meeting. All I thought was, okay, this is a very famous person. It takes time to make an impression of someone.” Today, however, Soha insists their bond goes far beyond industry chatter, rooted in warmth and mutual respect.
