Sunidhi Chauhan is set to appear on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, where she had a rather special confession to make to host Amitabh Bachchan. In a new promo, the singer reveals that the veteran actor was her “first
crush”, leaving the senior actor amused. He jokingly tells her that she was only revealing it now and had never told him back then.
The new promo of KBC 18, shared on SonyLIV’s official Instagram handle, features Sunidhi Chauhan talking about her admiration for Amitabh Bachchan. She tells the veteran actor that she has seen him in several avatars and reveals that he was her “first crush,” leaving him amused. She can be heard saying, “We have seen you in so many different avatars. You are Santa Claus to me. You were my first crush.” To this, Big B replied, “Aapko humpe crush tha, yeh ab bata rahi hain aap, tab nahi btaaya (You’re telling me now that you had a crush on me; you didn’t tell me back then).”
Sunidhi then showcased her singing prowess on the hot seat, turning the KBC set into a mini concert. She performed ‘Yeh Mera Dil’ from the 2006 Don, a song that was originally featured in Amitabh Bachchan’s 1978 film Don and famously sung by Asha Bhosle. Big B appeared visibly impressed by Sunidhi’s rendition and applauded enthusiastically as she performed the iconic number.
Soon after the promo was shared, netizens were seen reacting to it. One user commented, “Queen is here… can’t wait for the full episode.” Another user wrote, “Two legends admiring each other.” A third user wrote, “Wow, can’t wait for this episode.” Others were seen dropping red heart and fire emojis.
Meanwhile, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 premiered on August 10 at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, the quiz show airs from Monday to Friday.
