About Alpha
The trailer begins with Bobby Deol revealing the name of Alia Bhatt’s character, Sita. He is then seen training her for a secret mission. We then see Alia Bhatt performing some intense stunts. In one particular scene, Alia’s character cites a reference from the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana and says, “Sita aaj Lanka khud jalane aaye hai.” In another scene, Alia also refers to “agni pariksha.” She is then seen getting into combat with Sharvari. We also see Anil Kapoor getting into a face-off with Bobby Deol. Hrithik Roshan also makes a short surprise appearance in the trailer.
Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Shiv Rawail of The Railway Men fame, Alpha is set to release on July 3. It is the seventh instalment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film also stars Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in the lead roles, with Hrithik Roshan appearing in an extended cameo.
