Tadepalli (Andhra Pradesh) [India], January 10 (ANI): YSRCP Party Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Saturday accused TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu of trying to distract the public with the Amaravati
issue while he was “supposed to answer the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation (RLI)” fiasco and the secret deal with his Telangana counterpart, who spilt the beans in the Assembly. “When the cat is out of the bag with Revanth Reddy’s remarks, Chandrababu Naidu should answer the main issue of RLI, which was raised by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy,” the party coordinator said. The YSRCP leader noted that, instead of addressing these serious concerns, the TDP leadership has shifted focus to the Amaravati issue to divert attention from recent remarks in the Telangana Assembly. “There is no need for him to run away from Hyderabad, which was announced a joint capital for ten years, and the only reason is his name being mentioned in the cash for vote case, he said. Speaking to the media on Saturday, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the TDP chief should be categorical on the RLI and state whether he spoke to Revanth Reddy on the issue. Reddy continued, “While YS Jagan Mohan Reddy preferred Vizag as the seat of power without ignoring or degrading Amaravati, as he built his house before the 2019 elections, Chandrababu has been using Vizag for commercial purposes and floating Amaravati as capital to mint money, though there is no boom in land value. He has been draining the money in the name of Amaravati by paying exorbitant rates to his own favoured contractors, and it has become the mother of all scams.” “When Telangana is drawing 9 TMC water daily from Srisailam from 777 feet itself how can Rayalaseema get water and Chandrababu failed in questioning the neighbouring state. The financial indiscipline of Chandrababu is out as he raised more than Rs 3 lakh crores in less than two years while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has raised 3.30 lakh crores in five years of which 2.73 lakh crore was given as DBT,” he said.
