Okay, let’s be honest… Dhurandhar is everywhere right now. The film is still doing great in theatres, but fans? They’ve already moved on to one big question: what about part 3?
Amid growing curiosity around
what’s next for the franchise, actor Rakesh Bedi has shared his thoughts on whether a third instalment is actually on the cards. The veteran star, who plays Jameel Jamali in director Aditya Dhar’s spy universe, addressed the speculation during an interview with Zoom.

While audiences have been actively rooting for Dhurandhar 3, Bedi doesn’t seem too convinced about an immediate continuation. He said, “I don’t think a third part will happen. But Dhurandhar is a franchise, and it can be made with some other actors at any given point of time. The story ends with the spy going back to his nation.”
He also reflected on how his character’s reveal, an Indian spy operating in Pakistan, landed with viewers. Speaking about the twist, he shared, “It was a highlight for the audience, but for us, it was like just another scene. We knew that it would create a ripple. Since Dhurandhar Part 1 was such a big hit, hence, the audience’s perspective to see Dhurandhar Part 2 completely changed. You are not going to see the film and decide how it was. You are going to see a film with the mindset that it is a great film because its prequel was also great. People were not going to watch the second part casually. They were keen to know what happens in part 2. Now, the audience is seeking to watch part 3.”

The franchise, fronted by Ranveer Singh, has been one of the biggest box office success stories in recent times. The first film, released in December 2025, earned around ₹1300 crore globally and received strong reviews. Its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which hit screens in March 2026, went a step further—crossing ₹1100 crore domestically and amassing over ₹1700 crore worldwide so far.
Set against the backdrop of Pakistan in the early 2000s, the films follow an Indian spy navigating the dangerous underworld of Lyari while working to dismantle terror networks. The sequel digs deeper into the origins of Ranveer’s character, Hamza aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi, while pushing the story forward with higher stakes.
Despite new releases like Bhooth Bangla entering cinemas, Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues to hold its ground at the box office even in its fourth week.
Alongside Ranveer, the films feature a strong ensemble including Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Akshaye Khanna.
