XAT 2026 Answer Key: How To Raise Objections?
Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key can raise objections by following these steps:
- Log in to the XAT portal using the application number and password.
- Click on the option marked Objection.
- Select the relevant question ID(s).
- Upload documents to support the claim.
- Pay the prescribed processing fee for each objection.
- Submit the objection.

The objection window will remain open for two to three days, though the exam authority has not specified the exact closing date. The XAT response sheet was released earlier on January 6, 2026.
XAT 2026 was conducted on January 4, 2026, in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The examination was held in computer-based mode and the question paper was set in English. The test consisted of 95 multiple-choice questions, each with five options and one correct answer. The paper was divided into two time-bound parts.
