Robert Pattinson’s Fans Compare His Looks To Other Fictional Characters
A user said, “Robert Pattinson’s acting is so damn good, he surely deserves an Oscar.” Another added, “Robert Pattinson’s path from Edward in Twilight to Scytale in Dune couldn’t have been foreseen by the Lisan al-Gaib (translated as “Voice from the Outer World” or “Giver of Water” – a messianic title in Frank Herbert’s Dune universe, primarily used by the Fremen of Arrakis to refer to an off-world prophet they believe will lead them to paradise) himself.” Someone mentioned, “Robert Pattinson is about to have a generational performance.” Echoing the same emotions, a person cried, “Robert Pattinson is coming for that Oscar.”
Many others compared his looks with various other fictional characters. While some mentioned he is “looking like Sting playing Feyd-Rautha in the 80s Dune movie”, a few others mentioned he “would’ve made a great Targaryen (the central focus of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series and its television adaptations, including Game of Thrones, and others which have physical features such as silver-gold or platinum hair and violet or indigo eyes) with that white hair”. Yet another fan mentioned that the actor was “looking like a young Woody Harrelson”.
The Internet Can’t Keep Calm Over Robert Pattinson’s New Look In Dune: Part 3
Reacting to his look, someone shared, “Pretty cool, Robert Pattinson paying homage to the original Feyd Routha…. By looking like Sting’s actual child.” For the context, in David Lynch’s 1984 Dune, musician Sting, known for his menacing, narcissistic performance, portrayed the role of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the version depicted with orange hair, embodying a sinister, calculating rival to Paul Atreides.
One more person added, “Robert Pattinson as Scytale reminds me of Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty from Blade Runner.” A fan mentioned, “I’ve always wondered what Robert Pattinson would look like without eyebrows.”
“Robert Pattinson is tryna go band for band with Christian Bale on body transformations lol,” read a comment. Meanwhile, a person weighing down on his on-screen character said, “You know, Scytale is a little too elusive in the book to the point that one cannot imagine his description of his face sometimes or be reminded of it, but give it a Robert Pattinson face, finally it’s doable.” “Robert Pattinson as the face dancer is so peak, I can’t wait to see this,” shared another. “Robert Pattinson strikes again,” read a comment.
