Veteran Bollywood actorsGovinda , Shakti Kapoor, Chunky Panday, and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari’s names have been linked to an alleged investment fraud case involving a Ghaziabad-based company, Maxizone Touch
Private Limited. A complaint has been filed in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur court, following which the veteran actors, along with many others, were named in a First Information Report (FIR) related to the matter.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the FIR was registered after investors in the company claimed they were cheated by the firm. The complaint stated that investors were assured a 15 per cent monthly return, but they received neither the interest nor the principal amount, prompting a police investigation.
While the FIR included many names, four of those that caught headlines were veteran Bollywood celebrities, Govinda, Chunky Panday, Shakti Kapoor, and Manoj Tiwari. The complaint further claimed that the actors’ involvement in promotions helped lure more people into the scheme, given their fan following.
Chander Bhushan Singh and his wife, Priyanka Singh, directors of Maxizone Touch Pvt Ltd, were arrested by Jamshedpur police in September 2025. Police said the company ran a fake MLM scheme and illegally took money from investors.
The Enforcement Directorate had also searched locations linked to the company in a case related to investment and cryptocurrency fraud. Officials said the couple had been on the run for nearly three years before their arrest.

Manoj Tiwari is an Indian politician, singer, and actor. A popular Bhojpuri folk artist, he is a Member of Parliament from Delhi and currently serves as a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
