Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri will soon be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial O’Romeo. The film is releasing on 13th February, 2026. Amid this, a report is coming in that Vikrant Massey and Tamannaah
Bhatia have come on board the project. While an official announcement is still awaited, reports suggest that the film is shaping up to be a major ensemble entertainer.
As per media reports, O Romeo will also feature a formidable supporting cast comprising Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, along with several other notable names, making it a truly ensemble-led project. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the esteemed banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, O Romeo is set to release on 13th February 2026 taregting the Valentine’s Day release.
O Romeo First look
O’ Romeo is Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj’s debut collaboration. Nadiadwala Grandson had shared the first look at the flim on its social media accounts. A man was seen wearing a cowboy hat and concealing his face with a tattooed hand. The film, which will be released in theatres on February 14, stars Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and Farida Jalal in prominent parts, with Disha Patani making a special appearance. Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid have previously worked together on Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017). O’ Romeo is Triptii’s debut collaboration with Vishal and Shahid. O’ Romeo is expected to be a visually stunning action thriller that combines strong drama, scenic scenery, and emotional storytelling. Though centred in action, the title and Valentine’s Day release imply a romantic core.
Vishal, who most recently directed the 2023 short film Fursat has continued to experiment with genres, ranging from Shakespearean dramas to edgy thrillers. O’ Romeo makes his return to large-scale commercial production, and fans are excited to see what this reunion brings.

Shahid Kapoor’s Latest Work
Shahid Kapoor last appeared in Deva, an action thriller released earlier this year. The film, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, followed a tough detective who had a behavioural transformation after losing his memory in an accident. In addition to Shahid Kapoor, the film starred Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati in prominent roles.
Tamannaah Bhatia Joins V. Shantaram Biopic Cast
The makers of the film V. Shantaram recently revealed Tamannah Bhatia’s role in the highly anticipated biopic. The actress is all set to essay the role of Jayashree in the film, the star who was known for films like Shakuntala, Dahej, and Dr. Kotnis Ki Amar Kahani. Jayashree was also the second wife of Shantaram.
Tamannaah will be seen in the film opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi, who will be playing the titular role. As per reports, talking about her role as Jayashree, Tamannaah shared, “It’s a great responsibility to portray a character rooted in one of the most influential eras of our cinema. And I feel immensely honoured to bring to life Jayashree, as she has been part of such legendary projects, and the amount of grace she had was surreal.”
She further added, “Shantaram built a legacy that continues to shape generations, and decoding his universe has allowed me to witness the brilliance of the man behind the legend. Bringing a piece of that legacy to the screen is truly a special feeling, and I am thankful for the makers of V Shantaram for seeing me as Jayashree.”
