Karisma Kapoor attended the launch event of the Swadesh flagship store, which was recently opened at Eros in Mumbai. The actor was a picture of sophistication as she wore a white Chanderi saree to the event.
The Chanderi saree is a royal heritage drape that originates from Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh. It is a true luxury item that every Indian has or dreams of having in their closet. Sarees made from this fabric are known for their lightweight, sheer, and breathable fabric, which is either made from silk or is a cotton blend. It is usually combined with intricate and hand-woven motifs like peacocks and florals, with a signature shine from Zari work.
Karisma, who was styled by designer Manish Malhotra, looked serene in a white Chanderi saree with a broad gold border and gold floral motifs. She paired it with a modest long-sleeve matching white blouse that featured a high neck and button details at the front of the blouse and along the sleeves. The saree blouse Karisma wore had an elaborate yet delicate gold embroidery detail on the sleeve and at the back.

She styled her hair in a severe braided bun that was slicked back with a middle parting. She wore gold earrings and a few gold rings but kept the accessories simple, as the saree was meant to do all the talking.
