The 74-year-old superstar is basking in the success of his latest release Coolie, which is his 171st film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the high-octane action drama released in theatres on August 14. The film boasts one of the year’s most star-studded casts, which includes Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj. Coolie follows the story of a former coolie union leader who stands up to a corrupt syndicate that exploits coolies in a port town.
Despite clashing with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s action drama War 2, Coolie has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India. Currently, the film’s earning stands at Rs 118 crore at the domestic box office.
