Captain Gaikwad came in at number three to steady things, but that didn’t work as Siraj struck quickly, taking three wickets in his first two overs. With Matt Short falling inside the powerplay, CSK were already behind in the chase.
Shivam Dube provided some fight with a quick 47 off 17 balls, but once he got out, the innings fell apart. The last four wickets fell for just four runs as GT sealed a dominant win.
