Sudden Labour And Quick Medical Response
On Saturday morning, Ragini suddenly went into labour. Her family acted swiftly and admitted her to Ganga Hospital, located in Sector Five within the Mela premises. The medical team, led by a gynaecologist, immediately began treatment and provided full care.
Under the supervision of doctors and nursing staff, Ragini had a normal delivery and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. According to the hospital administration, this was the first delivery conducted at Ganga Hospital during the Magh Mela.
A Name Inspired By The Sacred Land
The family was overjoyed at the birth of the baby girl and named her Ganga, as she was born in the sacred Sangam area.
To mark the occasion, sweets were distributed at the hospital. The family described the birth as a blessing, saying it was special for their daughter to be born on the holy land of the Ganga and Sangam.
Dr Manoj Kumar, the hospital superintendent, confirmed that the delivery was carried out safely and that both mother and baby are healthy. He stated that all essential medical facilities have been arranged at the hospital for devotees during the Magh Mela, and that this successful delivery demonstrates the hospital’s preparedness.
Government Support For Mother And Child
The government will provide Ragini with financial assistance of Rs 1,400 to support food, care, and nutrition after delivery. This assistance is intended to help with the mother’s recovery and the newborn’s wellbeing.
Following the incident, the government’s efforts to provide healthcare facilities within the fair area have been widely appreciated.
