John Abraham’s Diet Plan
A firm believer in diet being a crucial element in his overall fitness routine, John says 60 per cent of his body goals are based on what he eats. Here are some of the diet rules that the actor rigorously follows regardless of how busy he is with shooting and other commitments.
Never Skip Breakfast
No matter how tough his schedule is, John always starts his morning with a proper meal. In many interviews, the actor has reinforced the importance of breakfast. One can adjust their routine and wake up a little earlier or prepare the food the night before, but they should never skip breakfast.
“Over a period of time, I have replaced all dairy products in my diet. I don’t eat butter, milk, or cheese. I’ve also not had eggs for a while. “It’s a moral decision,” John told GQ in an interview back in 2022. However, the actor insists he isn’t a vegan or a complete vegetarian.
Fuel Your Body Throughout The Day
John believes in regularly fuelling the body to stay active. He reportedly consumes nutritious snacks in moderate quantities to keep his metabolism active.

Balance Is Critical
John likes to keep things simple and doesn’t believe in an expensive diet plan. Instead of being overly fussed with calories, the actor suggests focusing on the nutritional value of what you’re eating. For example, natural sugar is better than refined sugar. Thus eating fruits, not sweets, makes them a healthier alternative.
Control Temptation But Don’t Eliminate Carbs
Like a normal person, John, too, loves his food, but the actor knows where to draw the line and how to control his temptations. He once shared that he completely ignored gulab jamun and samosa on a set. At the same time, John advises people not to cut down carbs completely and have their healthy dose of rice, bread, and potatoes. John likes to take most of his carbs in the morning for a boost of sustained energy.
Hydration
Apart from food, John focuses a great deal on his water consumption and keeps himself hydrated. For John, the extreme water cut is a big no-no. He may slightly reduce water, salt, and sugar before a shoot but that is only for a short time. Staying hydrated boosts your muscle growth, improves skin, immune system and overall body function.
