Over the past months, rumours of a possible separation between Abhishek and Aishwarya had been doing the rounds, but time and again, the couple has subtly shut them down — and this outing feels like the final nail in the coffin.
The family looked relaxed and happy as they made their way out of the terminal. Aishwarya, with her trademark elegance, was seen in a black overcoat, loose, wavy hair, a black cap, and a pop of red lipstick, pushing her luggage with a smile. Abhishek sported a casual hoodie-and-cap look, staying close to his wife and daughter. In a sweet gesture, Abhishek patiently waited by the car, ensuring Aishwarya and Aaradhya were safely inside before taking his own seat in the front.
In an exclusive interview with Zoom recently, the actor opened up about his family life, approach to solitude, and how he maintains emotional balance while playing intense roles. When asked about the dynamics at home, he offered an amusing yet insightful take, saying, “It’s funny. My household is very funny, and we are all actors. We all like to hang out together, and then suddenly everyone just goes back to their own personal spaces.”
He continued, “That comes naturally because for actors it is important to spend time with yourself and get to know yourself. Self-discovery is something that we rarely do. It’s essential, but I would never want to be a loner.”
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s love story began as friends while working together on films like Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (2000) and Kuch Naa Kaho (2003). However, romance blossomed during the filming of Umrao Jaan in 2005-2006. Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya after the premiere of their film Guru in New York. They got married on April 20, 2007, in a grand ceremony, and became the “Bachchan Bahu” Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Aishwarya and Abhishek have a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan.
