Deepika Padukone and Farah Khan have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Deepika was launched by Farah in Om Shanti Om, and they have maintained a close friendship over the years. Now, their Instagram activity
has caught everyone’s attention, and fans are confused if their relationship has soured. This comes at a time when Farah took several digs at Deepika’s alleged 8-hour workday demands.
While it is unclear when or why Deepika and Farah unfollowed one another, it is suggestive of a fallout. However, there is no confirmation on this yet. Farah Khan has also unfollowed Ranveer Singh, but the actor still follows the choreographer-filmmaker. Have a look here:

Farah Khan Took Digs At Deepika Padukone’s Alleged Demands
In one of her YouTube vlogs, Farah Khan visited Radhikka Madan when the latter recalled her first audition for Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi. When Farah asked, “You didn’t have an 8-hour shift, I am guessing?”, Radhikka replied, “56 hours non-stop or 48 hours non-stop.” At this point, Farah hinted that even she does not support an 8-hour work shift and shared, “Aise tapke hi toh sona banta hai (this is how gold is made).”
More recently, Farah Khan visited Rohit Saraf’s house with Dilip. The actor revealed that his mother appeared on camera for the first time for Farah’s vlog and that she had made them wait for a year. Farah jokingly replied, “Haan itna time toh Deepika Padukone ne nahi lagaya mujhe haan bolne mein.”
Farah’s cook Dilip then asked when Deepika Padukone will come to their show, to which Farah cheekily replied that she only shoots for 8 hours now, and doesn’t have time to come on their vlog. “Deepika Padukone ma’am kab aayengi humare show main (when will Deepika ma’am come to our show)?” asked Dilip.
Farah replied, “Jiss din tu gaon jaayega naa uss din aayegi (the day you go to your village).” She further added, “Deepika Padukone ab sirf 8 ghanta shoot karti hai, usko show pe aane ka time nahi hai (She now shoots only for 8 hours, she doesn’t have time to come to our show).”

For the unversed, Deepika Padukone hit the headlines recently after the makers of Prabhas starrer Kalki 2 announced that they have dropped the actress from the film. Earlier this year, her exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit also shocked fans. Several reports suggested that her demands, including eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film’s profits, did not sit well with director Vanga. Similar reasons were also reported about her ouster from Kalki 2.
