Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who first raised concerns about Air India’s services in Kerala, has now appreciated the airline. During one of his recent flights, Tharoor was pleasantly surprised to meet two
familiar faces of crew members, Sunita and Leepakshi. The politician had flown with them earlier and was delighted to see them again on his next journey. Sharing the moment on social media, he wrote that meeting the same warm and professional crew on two back-to-back flights felt like “coming home.”
He praised both women for their excellent service and congratulated the airlines for hiring such dedicated staff. His kind words quickly caught the attention of social media users, who appreciated him for remembering the flight attendants.

Shashi Tharoor Earlier Slammed Air India For Cutting Kerala Flights
In September, Shashi Tharoor criticised Air India for cutting a large number of flights from Kerala in its winter schedule. Sharing his thoughts on X, the Congress MP was concerned after seeing airlines neglecting an entire state. He also called out Air India’s Managing Director and CEO, Campbell Wilson and urged them to reconsider their decision. Tharoor said the national carrier should not treat Kerala as an afterthought and must recognise the state’s importance for both domestic and international travel.
