Former Australian cricketer David Warner’s reply to an X post from Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal regarding Kuldeep Yadav’s departure went viral on social media, with many believing that it was a slight

After spending two seasons with Lucknow Super Giants, Rishabh Pant has returned to his former team, Delhi Capitals, on a deal worth Rs 12 crore, less than his previous contract.
Meanwhile, wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav has made the move in the opposite direction, joining Lucknow Super Giants.
“Dear Kuldeep, thank you for your service over the last 5 years @DelhiCapitals. You have been a core part of our team and you will be sorely missed,” Jindal had tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.

Warner reacted with laughing emojis before hinting that Kuldeep’s release was probably a result of a failed auction.
“It was always going to happen. Auctions can get out of hand and if there is a dip in form and one owner wants to get rid of you while the other wanted you but was unfortunately outbid, you can bide your time,” Warner replied.

Warner also enjoyed a lengthy association with DC across two separate stints. He first represented the team from 2009 to 2013 before returning in 2022 after an eight-season spell with Sunrisers Hyderabad, whom he captained to the IPL title in 2016.
