The heartwarming video of a police official going beyond his call of duty to help a disabled person board the train at a railway station gaining significant attention on the internet. The compassionate
act has garnered praise for the police officer, with some calling it “humanity in uniform.”
The clip starts with a differently abled passenger struggling to climb the steps to reach the platform and board the train. The police official soon noticed the passenger and carried him on his shoulders to help him board a train.
This act of kindness was captured in a short video posted by the official himself on social media.
According to a NDTV report, the official in the video is Ashwani Kumar, who is working for the Uttar Pradesh Police.
What Did He Do?
In the clip, Ashwani notices a man with a prosthetic leg struggling to climb the stairs at the railway station. Soon after, the official stepped in and lifted the person on his shoulders across the crowded platform to make sure that he boards the train on time.

While sharing the clip on Instagram, the official wrote, “Madad ke liye rupay nahi, madad waala dil chahiye. Woh aapme hai (You don’t need money to help, just a heart that cares, and you have it).”
In the caption, he wrote, “There is nothing bigger than humanity.”
The police official’s selfless act of kindness was hugely praised by many across various social media platforms.
