Dazzling in diamonds after a decade, Beyonce returned to MET Gala 2026 in a custom Olivier Rousteing ensemble.
Beyonce attended the MET Gala 2026 along with her daughter, Blue Ivy and husband, American
rapper Jay-Z. Beyonce went on to celebrate her return by talking about experiencing fashion’s biggest night through the eyes of her daughter.
Calling her return to MET Gala surreal, Beyonce also dedicated her look for the occasion to fashion designer Olivier Rousteing. Beyonce expressed how Rousteing has been loyal to her over the years and how she has done so many incredible, iconic looks with him. And, for Queen Bey the MET Gala 2026 is also about representing him.
Channelling the naked-dress vibe encrusted with sparkling detailing resembling a skeleton. Beyonce paired the sheer shimmery look with a long-fringed cape realised in two colours. Beyonce completed the look with an embellished crown encrusted with crystals. A headgear fit for a queen.
Beyonce looked at ease and was all smiles as she posed for the media on the iconic MET stairs. The last time Beyonce had her MET moment was back in 2016, where she was styled in a nude Givenchy haute couture gown, featuring over 2000 pearl embellishments.
Known for making a statement with her fashion choices, the 2026 MET Gala look feels like an extension of the Queen-energy she brings wherever she goes. Every element in her look embraces the Queen that she is.
Beyonce brought costume to Costume Art and celebrated it with panache. Keeping up with the dress code, which was ‘Fashion is Art’, Beyonce honoured Rousteing’s vision and made a royal statement with her presence on the iconic MET stairs.
As the MET Gala co-chair Beyonce was also joined by array of celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, Zoë Kravitz, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Kendell Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Bad Bunny, Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, Isha Ambani, Natasha Poonawalla, Ananya Birla, Cardi B, Rihanna, Lisa, Rose, Irina Shayk, Suki Waterhouse, Emily Blunt, Anna Hathaway, Heidi Klum, Ayo Edebiri, Asap Rocky, Laura Harrier, Teyana Taylor, Law Roach, Jeremy Pope, Jaafar Jackson, Blake Lively and Tyla among others.
