The 106th birth anniversary of famed poet and lyricist Kaifi Azmi was commemorated with artists, writers, and film stars gathered for a grand event. The event honoured the man whose thoughts and ideas
have resonated across generations. A clip from the event is now going viral that shows Dia Mirza and her son in conversation with Vidya Balan.
In the clip, Vidya oddly talks to Dia’s son Avylaan and the little kid’s antics leave the duo surprised. Vidya was seen saying ‘Hi’ to the kid and in return, he gave her a high five. Soon, he turned around and hugged his mother.

Dia Mirza Turns Novelist
Dia Mirza is embarking on a new creative endeavour as a children’s novelist. She is now working on a collection of five books for young readers, with further information scheduled to be published closer to their release in 2026. Confirming the development, Dia shared that working on stories for children has been a deeply personal experience for her. “This milestone means the world to me, but creating for young minds has been one of the most meaningful experiences this year. My son Avyaan is too excited. I have read the stories to him and can’t wait for him to see them with the illustrations done. I’ll be able to share more when the publishers are ready,” she said.
Dia Mirza has established herself as a successful producer in addition to her acting career. She co-founded Born Free Entertainment in 2011 to support projects including Love Breakups Zindagi, Bobby Jasoos, and the famous online series Mind the Malhotras. In 2019, she created her own banner, One India Stories, with an emphasis on creating original, meaningful material with social importance.
Dia Mirza’s Latest Work
Dia Mirza has already produced two short films under this label, Panha and Aasmani, and two feature films are currently in production, indicating a consistent extension of her work behind the camera. The actress is set to star in filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s much-anticipated film, titled O’ Romeo. Scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, the film boasts a strong ensemble cast including Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda.
