Samantha Ruth Prabhu was recently in Abu Dhabi for the launch of a watch and made several heads turn with her fashion choices. The 38-year-old actor is known for her elegant sartorial choices and always
brings her A-game to the event.
She wore a one-shoulder, deep purple gown by the Krésha Bajaj to the event. With an interesting cut, the dress featured a flowy long sleeve with a fringe element that went all the way to the bottom.
She accessorised the look with a gold necklace and a chunky bracelet. However, the most interesting factor of this look was the actor’s gold layered chain that had a tiny watch. Created by the brand Piaget, it was a completely functional watch! Giving Time Turner vibes, similar to the one used by Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, this necklace is a showstopping piece.
The actor styled her hair in big, bouncy curls that flowed down her back. For the makeup, she leaned into the bronze goddess look, with chiselled cheekbones and a light dusting of blush. She wore her signature nude lipstick and brown smoky eyes.
Samantha was last seen in Citadel Honey Bunny with Varun Dhawan, and on a personal note, during a recent interview, the actor spoke candidly about her relationships. She went on to explain what she looks for in a partner. The actor was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. However, she is rumoured to be in a relationship with Raj Nidimoru, with whom she is often papped. They are also working on a movie together.
She was asked what she would ask her young fans to choose between – relationships or career, and Samantha explained that they should rather find a partner who would support their career goals. “I think it is unfair to choose between career and relationship. You should not be required to choose. Find a relationship that understands your goals, your ambition and supports them,” she said.
