Jacqueline Fernandez is reportedly gearing up for an exciting new project in Telugu cinema. According to recent reports, the actress is in talks to collaborate with a popular Telugu filmmaker for a female-centric

According to 123 Telugu, Jacqueline is likely to headline a female-centric film that will be directed by Tollywood filmmaker V. Jayashankarr. Jayashankarr narrated an intense script filled with action and suspense elements, which the actress found impressive. And she has also given her nod to the project. Sources close to the development reveal that the film will showcase Jacqueline in a powerful and never-seen-before role. The movie will also feature high-end VFX to enhance the visual experience and create an immersive cinematic feel.
Earlier, in July, the Delhi High Court dismissed a plea by the Bollywood actor for quashing an FIR against her in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case, involving alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Justice Anish Dayal dismissed her plea, which also sought to quash the second supplementary chargesheet of the Enforcement Directorate in the case and proceedings pending in a Delhi trial court.
Fernandez is an accused in the money laundering case lodged against Chandrasekhar and had appeared before the ED for questioning in the investigation. Delhi Police had booked Chandrasekhar for allegedly duping the spouses of former promoters of Ranbaxy, Shivinder Singh and Malvinder Singh of Rs 200 crore.
