Fresh off another successful IPL campaign, Virat Kohli is making headlines again, this time for his style rather than his batting.
The former India captain has unveiled a striking new hairstyle following
Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s title-winning IPL 2026 season, with fans flooding social media after celebrity hairstylist Rashid Salmani revealed Kohli’s updated look on Instagram.
The makeover features a sharp new haircut paired with a pastel hair colour, a departure from Kohli’s usual style and one that instantly caught the attention of cricket fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.
The new look arrives just days after Kohli played a starring role in RCB’s successful title defence. The batting superstar finished IPL 2026 with 675 runs in 16 matches and once again proved why he remains one of the biggest names in world cricket.
His finest moment came in the final, where he produced a captain’s knock under pressure. Kohli smashed his fastest-ever IPL fifty before finishing unbeaten on 75 from just 42 deliveries. He then capped the night in fitting fashion by launching the winning six that sealed back-to-back championships for the Bengaluru franchise.
Kohli’s association with Salmani is nothing new. The celebrity stylist has worked with the cricket icon on multiple occasions, previously sharing another of Kohli’s signature looks in 2022.
Salmani has also styled Kohli’s wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, and boasts an impressive client list that includes Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma and Rinku Singh.
Away from the spotlight, however, Kohli is currently focused on recovery. The 37-year-old sustained a hamstring injury during the IPL final, ruling him out of India’s upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, which begins on June 13.
There is still optimism surrounding his return for the ODI series against England later this summer.
