The penultimate week of October has an unusually packed streaming calendar, stretching from a murder investigation unfolding over one feverish night to Mumbai’s criminal underbelly, international espionage,
anime and Korean romance. Manoj Bajpayee reunites with Neeraj Pandey for Gajab Raat, a crime thriller in which an attack on a mysterious young woman brings a disparate group of suspects under scrutiny. Chaar Yaar, meanwhile, puts Purav Jha and three friends inside Mumbai’s organised crime machinery, where money and ambition begin testing relationships that once seemed unshakeable.
Elsewhere, Chris Pratt’s James Reece goes global in The Terminal List Season 2, Omar Sy brings Assane Diop out of sight but certainly not out of action in Lupin: Part 4, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners returns to Night City with an entirely new crew. From The Legend of Hanuman Season 7 and the return of Nobody Wants This to Hurricane Otis, a controversial psychological experiment and a culinary grudge match, here is the complete OTT lineup for October 19-25.
Gajab Raat – Netflix, October 23
One night, one violent attack and a roomful of people whose versions of the truth refuse to sit comfortably together form the foundation of Gajab Raat.
Manoj Bajpayee reunites with creator Neeraj Pandey for the crime thriller, directed by Ritesh Shah. Bajpayee plays a police officer called in to investigate an attack on a mysterious young woman. The clock immediately becomes part of the investigation, with the entire story unfolding before the night gives way to morning.
What initially looks like a case with a finite number of suspects becomes increasingly tangled as motives overlap and competing interests emerge. Saqib Saleem, Akshay Oberoi, Divya Dutta, Kiku Sharda and Nushrratt Bharuccha play various people connected to the incident, each bringing another possible version of what happened.
With nowhere for the investigation to escape temporally, Gajab Raat turns a single night into a pressure chamber where every interrogation can alter the direction of the case.
Chaar Yaar – Prime Video, October 23
Four friends enter Mumbai’s criminal ecosystem believing it could provide the financial future ordinary life has denied them. Getting in, however, proves considerably easier than staying friends once money and power enter the equation.
Purav Jha leads this eight-episode Amazon Original crime drama alongside Naman Jain, Saqib Ayub and Prayrak Mehta. The friends gradually work their way through an organised crime syndicate, navigating increasingly dangerous assignments while trying to improve their positions within its hierarchy.
But every step upwards changes the balance between them. Financial desperation becomes ambition, ambition creates rivalries and loyalties that once appeared unconditional acquire a price.
Sikandar Kher, Sai Tamhankar, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Tailang and Chunky Pandey round out the ensemble, populating a Mumbai underworld where friendship can be an advantage until it becomes leverage.
The Terminal List Season 2 – Prime Video, October 21
James Reece’s war becomes considerably larger in the second season of The Terminal List.
Chris Pratt returns as the former Navy SEAL in a new chapter adapted from Jack Carr’s True Believer. After the intensely personal revenge story of the first season, Reece is pulled into an international operation spanning Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
His mission centres on a conspiracy whose trail stretches from Moscow to Langley. But the deeper Reece travels into the network, the more the operation begins intersecting with secrets from his own family history.
Tom Hopper, Constance Wu and Gabriel Luna join Pratt in the ensemble. The production also continues involving military veterans behind the scenes, while expanding the series from its original revenge-thriller framework into a broader espionage story.
Lupin: Part 4 – Netflix, October 22
Assane Diop may be dead as far as the world is concerned. That is precisely how he wants it.
Omar Sy returns for an eight-episode fourth instalment of the French mystery thriller following Assane’s elaborate decision to fake his own death. The deception was designed to remove the relentless media attention and violent danger surrounding his former partner Claire and their son Raoul.
But disappearing does not mean retiring.
Operating from the shadows gives Assane a new kind of freedom, allowing him to continue constructing the elaborate deceptions and heists that have made him perpetually difficult to catch. The difference is that every move now carries the additional risk of exposing the fact that he is still alive.
Antoine Gouy and Théo Christine return as the gentleman thief attempts to protect his family without completely surrendering the identity and ingenuity that repeatedly put them in danger.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 – Netflix, October 20
Night City gets a new group of dreamers reckless enough to believe they might survive it.
Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red return to the dystopian universe with a standalone ten-episode story rather than simply continuing the previous crew’s journey.
Directed by Kai Ikarashi, the second season introduces another collection of mercenaries trying to carve out a living inside a city where corporate power, cybernetic augmentation and criminal violence make human life exceptionally disposable.
Among the new faces are D, a brooding netrunner, and the formidable muscle veteran Weak King Kingsley. While the characters and story change, the series retains the kinetic visual identity that defined its first outing, shifting attention towards another corner of Night City’s criminal machinery and another crew convinced they can beat a system designed to consume them.
Nobody Wants This Season 3 – Netflix, October 22
Joanne and Noah have survived attraction, religious differences and the opinions of practically everybody around them. Season three introduces a deceptively ordinary relationship milestone: living together.
Kristen Bell and Adam Brody return as the couple, whose decision to share a home brings all the habits and compromises that dating can conveniently conceal into one space.
Joanne is also beginning to reckon more seriously with what life as a rabbi’s wife could involve. Her relationship with Noah is no longer simply about whether they belong together, but how much either person’s identity must change to make that togetherness sustainable.
Meanwhile, Morgan and Sasha find themselves newly single, opening another comic strand as both navigate life outside their previous relationships. The season consists of ten episodes.
The Legend Of Hanuman Season 7 – JioHotstar, October 23
The battle for Lanka intensifies as The Legend of Hanuman reaches its seventh season.
The animated mythological series continues its serialised retelling of the Ramayana, moving deeper into the military confrontation between the opposing forces as the final battle draws closer.
Damandeep Singh Baggan continues voicing Lord Hanuman, while Sharad Kelkar returns as Ravan. The new episodes focus more closely on the tactical battles unfolding in Lanka and the individual character arcs feeding into the eventual confrontation.
Rather than racing directly towards the familiar conclusion, the season continues expanding the conflicts and choices surrounding the war, placing Hanuman’s courage, devotion and strategic importance at the heart of the story.
The New Stanford Prison Experiment – Netflix, October 21
One of psychology’s most notorious experiments becomes the template for a six-part unscripted reality series.
Thirty volunteers enter a functioning correctional environment before being randomly divided into guards and prisoners, recreating the central power structure associated with Philip Zimbardo’s controversial 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment.
Participants are then observed as they adapt to roles that immediately give one group institutional authority over another.
The series focuses on how quickly artificial designations begin influencing real behaviour, and whether empathy can survive once control, obedience and hierarchy are built into everyday interactions. Rather than approaching the original experiment solely as history, the format attempts to test similar questions with contemporary participants placed inside a deliberately unequal social system.
Where’s Wanda? Season 2 – Apple TV, October 21
The Klatt family’s amateur detective work takes a much darker turn when their daughter Wanda is discovered standing over a dead body.
Heike Makatsch and Axel Stein return as Carlotta and Dedo, while Lea Drinda reprises her role as Wanda in the German-language comedy’s eight-episode second season.
Convinced of their daughter’s innocence, her parents launch their own investigation. Their search for the real explanation drags them beneath the apparently respectable surface of their suburban community and into its criminal underworld.
The new mystery retains the show’s mixture of family comedy and crime, with Carlotta and Dedo once again demonstrating that parental desperation can produce investigative methods no competent police department would willingly approve.
Six Kings Slam Season 2 – Netflix, October 21
Some of men’s tennis’ biggest names return to Riyadh as the high-profile exhibition tournament begins its second edition.
Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev are among the elite players competing outside the conventional ATP Tour framework for a substantial financial prize.
The live broadcast follows the tournament across multiple days, placing players accustomed to meeting in Grand Slams and Masters events into a different competitive environment.
Without ranking points providing the usual motivation, the enormous prize purse and opportunity to defeat some of the sport’s leading names become central to the spectacle.
The Mother Of Penguins Season 2 – Netflix, October 21
The toughest fights in an MMA fighter’s life continue to happen nowhere near the cage as this Polish family drama returns.
Masza Wagrocka and Barbara Wypych lead the second season, which continues examining the everyday realities faced by parents raising children with special needs.
Its central mother now finds herself negotiating a new school system for her son, where securing appropriate education and support becomes an exhausting battle against structures not necessarily designed around his needs.
The series contrasts physical toughness with a different kind of resilience, exploring the bureaucracy, isolation and sacrifices involved in advocating for a child while trying to preserve the rest of family life.
Did Someone Happen To Mention Me? – Netflix, October 22
Imagine spending years becoming a successful actor only to wake up one day and discover that nobody remembers you ever existed.
Yakusho Koji leads this Japanese comedy as an established theatre performer whose identity mysteriously disappears from the memories of his family, friends and fans overnight.
His achievements suddenly mean nothing because there is nobody left to recognise them. With his professional reputation effectively erased, he must begin his acting career again from the bottom while attempting to understand how an entire life can vanish without the person himself disappearing.
Directed by Fuminori Kaneko, Takuya Sakaue and Atsushi Watanabe, the series also features Hamada Masatoshi and Kaku Kento.
Fading Grandeur – Netflix, October 22
An aristocratic title is considerably easier to preserve than an aristocratic lifestyle when the money has run out.
Fernando Andina plays Don Leandro, a marquis facing a financial crisis severe enough to force him into selling his deteriorating family mansion in Madrid.
Enter Sofía Carrington, a wealthy businesswoman played by Alexandra Jiménez, who expresses interest in purchasing the property. What begins as a relatively straightforward real-estate negotiation soon becomes unexpectedly personal.
The Spanish comedy-drama uses the decaying mansion as a symbol of inherited status meeting contemporary money, as Don Leandro attempts to part with a family legacy while becoming increasingly entangled with the woman capable of buying it.
Varam – JioHotstar, October 22
A mysterious blessing promises to transform the fortunes of a man accustomed to having very little in this Telugu drama series.
Vishwadev Rachakonda plays a slum dweller whose life changes when he receives an inexplicable boon that gives him insight into his fate, fortune and future.
Initially, the gift appears to offer precisely what poverty has denied him: the opportunity to anticipate what lies ahead and use that knowledge to improve his financial position.
But knowing the future introduces complications of its own. As he begins making decisions around his newfound foresight, the line between controlling destiny and becoming controlled by it starts to blur. Shivathmika Rajasekhar and Srinivas Avasarala also star.
Paralyzed By Hope: The Maria Bamford Story – Netflix, October 23
This documentary looks at comedian Maria Bamford’s career through the very subjects she has repeatedly refused to hide from her audiences.
Using archival material, interviews and performance footage, the film traces Bamford’s journey through stand-up while examining how her experiences with bipolar disorder became intertwined with her comedic voice.
Rather than separating professional success from mental-health struggles, the documentary looks at the way Bamford transformed deeply personal experiences into material, often finding comedy in subjects entertainment culture historically preferred to discuss euphemistically.
The result charts both a career in comedy and the complicated relationship between performing vulnerability onstage and living with it once the lights go down.
Surviving Hurricane Otis – Netflix, October 23
The catastrophic 2023 hurricane that struck Acapulco becomes the setting for this Mexican survival drama starring Benny Emmanuel and Kristyan Ferrer.
They play half-brothers caught in the path of Hurricane Otis as it rapidly intensifies into a Category 5 storm.
The production recreates the timeline and wind patterns of the real weather event, following the brothers through the hurricane’s immediate violence before turning towards its aftermath.
Once the winds subside, survival does not simply end. The devastation of the coastal environment leaves the pair navigating destroyed infrastructure and the consequences of a disaster that has fundamentally altered the place they knew.

Directed by Aaron and Sean Schoenke, the superhero action film also features Mark Dacascos, Michael Madsen and David Ramsey.

That history transforms the contest into something more personal than another cooking competition. Every dish becomes an opportunity to settle an old score, while the pressure of proving himself threatens the composure Woo-jin has built his identity around.
Hong Hwa-yeon co-stars in the South Korean culinary drama.
Love In Disguise – Prime Video, October 19
An undercover assignment becomes considerably harder to manage when the target stops feeling like merely a target.
