Marvel had released a lengthy list of names when they announced the stellar cast of Avengers: Doomsday, but there were many who were missing from that list. Later, when the studio confirmed that the list given
wasn’t complete, it left MCU fans wondering who else would join. Today, Ryan Reynolds‘ post has sent social media into a frenzy.

While there was no confirmation or update from Marvel about the full cast, even though filming has already begun, Ryan’s post featuring the Avengers logo could be the biggest dream come true for many fans. The caption attached to it just skyrocketed the expectations.
Ryan shared a cryptic post on his official Instagram handle vancityreynolds that hinted at Deadpool’s entry into the much-awaited Avengers: Doomsday. Following Deadpool’s quirky streak, the cryptic post had the Avengers logo doodled in red over the official logo. While Ryan didn’t confirm anything, in a now-deleted caption he had simply written, “WHAT,” with a side-eye emoji.
While this isn’t an official confirmation about his participation in Avengers, fans are convinced that he is part of the film.
Reacting to his post, one wrote, “If you are saying what I think you’re saying, I’m actually gonna scream.” Another commented, “Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.” A third curious fan questioned, “Alright, what are you up to? 🧐”
Ryan Reynolds made his debut as Deadpool in the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the 2024 release Deadpool vs Wolverine. There has been a lot of chatter about their possible return to the MCU, but fans have been awaiting an official confirmation on the same.
Recently, Hugh Jackman talked about his possible return to the much-loved superhero franchise. Cinema Express quoted the actor saying, “I really have nothing to add,” Jackman said with a grin during a recent appearance on The View. “If I had something to add, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but honestly, I have nothing to contribute.”
“I really can’t say much, except when you say ‘appear’, more like dominate and destroy every other character — I’m kidding,” he quipped.
