Handwritten Guess Paper At Centre Of NEET Paper Leak Probe
The PDF contained questions from the NEET UG 2026 paper leak that were dictated to students, who noted them down in their notebooks at a Pune institute. These questions appeared verbatim in the actual NEET examination held on May 3rd.
These questions were recovered from the notebooks of students who had attended coaching classes conducted by the arrested professors and the coaching centre operator, Shivraj Motegaonkar.

This handwritten question paper matched exactly with the actual examination paper administered on May 3rd to the 2.3 million students who appeared for the exam.
The student’s handwritten notes were converted into a PDF file and circulated before the examination.
Authorities are now scrutinising the purported handwritten Chemistry notes as investigators widen their probe into the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak.
The handwritten NEET UG 2026 “guess paper” may be connected to a wider alleged leak network involving former NTA paper setter PV Kulkarni and co-accused Manisha Mandhare, both of whom allegedly had access to the paper-setting facility.
All About NEET Paper Leak Controversy
The controversy erupted after investigators discovered that a so-called “guess paper” circulating before the exam allegedly matched a large number of questions from the actual NEET paper. Reports suggested that nearly 120 to 140 questions overlapped with the final exam paper.

Initially, the NTA dismissed rumours circulating on social media and messaging apps. However, state police units and later central agencies began probing suspicious activity linked to coaching centres and middlemen across multiple states.
According to investigators, copies of the paper may have been circulated through courier networks, encrypted messaging apps and coaching circles operating across Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana, Bihar and Kerala.
On May 12, the NTA officially cancelled the NEET-UG 2026 examination, which was conducted on May 3, saying the integrity of the examination process had been compromised. The Centre handed over the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation. The NTA announced that the re-examination will be conducted on June 21.
