Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor faced heavy trolling when their film Loveyapa hit theatres. While some industry figures came to their support, the criticism remained harsh. Even Sunny Deol, who praised Junaid and Khushi for
their performances after watching the film and its teaser, reportedly faced backlash for his comments. In a recent interview, Sunny opened up about feeling awful for the Loveyapa actors and shared his advice on handling online trolls.
During an interview with Zoom, Sunny Deol admitted that he doesn’t think much about the trolls and will continue to respect actors’ work if he loves it. He said, “I don’t care if the actors from the industry don’t show support during the promotions of my films by posting about them on social media. If I like the trailer of a film, I will post about it.”
Sunny Deol On Actors Being Trolled
Moreover, when asked about the online criticism faced by Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor after the release of Loveyapa, Sunny Deol remarked that he doesn’t delve into such matters, having always known the industry to be this way.
Sunny Deol added, “Obviously, I feel sad with the fact that people troll the actors or their work. I feel people who are doing it by using mobile are taking out their frustration. I felt bad when Junaid and Khushi were being trolled. My advice to the young actors of this generation would be to stop reading those comments and move ahead.”
