The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that it will reopen the application window for CTET 2026 on a one-time basis, allowing candidates with incomplete forms to complete their registration
for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026.
In an official press release, CBSE said that 1,61,127 registrations were left incomplete and were not converted into final applications. Taking note of the large number of affected candidates, the Board said it has taken a “sympathetic view” and decided to provide a final opportunity to complete the application process.
The special application window will be available from 11 am on December 27 to 11:59 pm on December 30, 2025, on the official website ctet.nic.in. During this period, candidates will be able to verify their details, make necessary corrections, and submit their forms.
CBSE has clearly stated that this is a one-time facility and no further correction window will be provided after the final submission. The Board has also clarified that fresh registrations will not be allowed during this reopening period.
CTET Registration 2026: How To Apply
- Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the link for CTET February 2026 – Complete Pending Application.
- Log in using your registration number and password or date of birth.
- Verify all personal, academic and contact details carefully.
- Make necessary corrections, if required.
- Upload documents, photographs or signatures, if pending.
- Pay the application fee, if not already paid.
- Submit the application form.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

The CTET February 2026 registration fee is Rs 1,000 for General and OBC candidates appearing for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers. For SC, ST and Differently Abled candidates, the fee is Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both papers.
Additional bank charges may apply. The fee can be paid through online modes such as debit/credit card or net banking, or offline via e-challan.
