Early morning training
In an earlier conversation with her fitness coach, Siddhartha Singh, she explained how she maintains her fitness regimen and healthy eating habits to keep her body perfectly toned. She wakes up at 4:30 am for workouts and heads “straight to a 12-hour shooting shift”.
In the video, the actress said, “Work out in the morning, and you feel more awake. It sets the tone for the entire day.”
Tamannaah’s fitness mantra
She says, “There’s no other way to do it. Diet, of course, needs to be controlled, but you can’t substitute anything for workouts. You have to train, and I enjoy it.”
Strength training
Before that, she shared details of her fitness routine, which incorporates full-body workouts. “My fitness regime consists of weights, abs, crunches, cardio, and a series of free-hand exercises,” she told Hindustan Times.
She continued, “I spend at least an hour in the gym, apart from doing yoga or swimming in the morning. Sometimes I also do Pilates and aerobics.”
Tamannaah Bhatia’s Diet
Despite being a foodie, the diva loves to follow a clean and healthy diet. In the same conversation with HT, she disclosed, “I’m a big foodie, everyone at home loves to spoil me silly with quality food. I believe in eating everything in moderation, and crash diets are a big no-no. I don’t resist eating, because it’s a natural stimulation. In case I consume extra calories, I work out more rigorously at the gym.”
She continued:
- Breakfast: A muesli bowl, which has granola, dates, almond milk, nuts, berries, and bananas. She also eats poached eggs or omelettes with a lot of veggies.
- Lunch: She eats daal, brown rice, and vegetables.
- Snack: She indulges in nuts before her workout.
- Dinner: The actress prefers eggs, idlis, or dosas. “I need to have yoghurt in every meal, as it helps me stay focused during long shoots, especially in summer,” she shared.
Tamannaah Bhatia’s Beauty Secrets
Talking about the benefits of proper hydration, she mentioned, “I’m also big on being hydrated at all times, so loads of juices, soups, and of course, three litres of water.” While diet and skincare go hand in hand, for Tamannaah, preferring a clean diet over everything does most of the work.
Cleaning the gut
Often referred to as the “milky beauty” by fans, she once urged the audience to understand her body first. “You need to be a bit more aware. Because skin is basically a reflection of your internal system. If your internal system is clean, if your gut is healthy, then your face and skin will look good in general,” she told The Lallantop.
However, she credits her glowing skin to her diet, and went on to say, “I think a good diet helps. Like, many people have food allergies they don’t even know about. For years, I didn’t know I was gluten and dairy-intolerant. I figured it out through trial and error. I tried so many different diets, so many different approaches, and then I realised, ‘Oh, when I don’t eat gluten, my skin is better. When I don’t eat dairy, my skin is better.’ So I discovered that along the way.”
Pimple hack
Interestingly, her personal pimple hack is an unexpected beauty tip. When asked about the same, she shared, “Pimple hack? Spit. Saliva. It works. I mean, the morning spit.”
Use of anti-ageing creams
More than makeup, she prefers good skincare. “I think that’s the more preventive way to go about it,” she said, adding, “It’s really good to use anti-ageing creams from the age of 25. It helps.”
Tamannaah loves to boost her skin internally, which simply shines bright.
