The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the much-awaited results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET PG) 2025. Applicants who registered
for the PG medical entrance examination can view their results at natboard.edu.in.
The NBEMS released the NEET PG cut-off scores in addition to the results for admission to MD, MS, DNB, and diploma programmes for a variety of applicant categories, including general, EWS, general-PWBD, SC, ST, and OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC).
NEET PG Result 2025: How To Check?
Step 1: Visit natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in, the NBEMS’s official websites.
Step 2: Look for the link that reads “Download NEET PG Result.”
Step 3: Fill up the required credentials, which includes the registration number and password.
Step 4: Now, click the “Submit” button.
Step 5: Your result for NEET PG 2025 will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Print the NEET PG 2025 Scorecard after downloading it for future reference.
NEET PG Result 2025: Cut Off Marks
NBEMS has released the cut off marks. For the General and EWS category candidates, they must score a minimum of 50 percentile or 276 marks out of 800 in the NEET PG exam to qualify. The General-PwBD candidates must score a minimum of 45 percentile or 255 marks to qualify the examination. SC/ST/ OBC (Including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC) category candidates must score a minimum of 40 percentile or 235 marks to qualify for NEET PG.
NEET PG 2025: Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two or more applicants have the same score, the merit rank position will be awarded based on the tiebreaker criteria listed below:
1. The candidate with the most right answers will be put in a higher merit rank.
2. The candidate with the fewer incorrect answers will be put in a higher merit rank.
3. Older candidates will be given higher merit positions.
4. Candidates with higher aggregate marks in all MBBS Professional Examinations will be placed in a higher merit category. In the event of Indian citizens/OCI who got their primary medical credentials from outside India, their FMG Examination marks (in percentage) would be considered in place of aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations.
NEET PG Result 2025: Next Steps
The next step in the admission process is to appear for the NEET PG 2025 counselling rounds to secure a seat. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for all India quota seats via mcc.nic.in and the schedule for the same will be communicated shortly. The different state agencies will conduct state quota NEET PG counselling. The relevant state agencies will host state quota NEET PG counselling.
