Legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s death left the entire nation numb and grief-stricken. She passed away on April 12, 2026, due to multiple organ failure. While her death is a huge loss to the music industry,
it has also raised one big question: Who will inherit her wealth and other valuables?
Various media reports claim that Asha Bhosle’s net worth is estimated to be between Rs 200 – Rs 250 crores. While there is no official figure to confirm this, it should be noted that a lot of it will also depend on Bhosle’s real estate, business holdings and royalties. Her real estate property is also valued between Rs 80–100 crore. This includes residential properties in Mumbai and Pune, along with a luxury apartment. The report claims that all of her wealth and belongings will be passed on to her son, Anand Bhosle and granddaughter Zanai Bhosle.
It should be noted that Asha Bhosle also had a successful global business with her restaurant chain, Asha’s. Launched in Dubai in 2002, the brand now spans the Gulf region, including the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain, and the UK. It will also reportedly be passed on to her son, Anand.
Apart from this, the DNA report also claims that Anand Bhosle will also be managing Asha’s brand and music rights.
Asha Bhosle’s Death
Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12 after succumbing to multiple organ failure. Her final rites were held a day later in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park crematorium. Asha Bhosle’s mortal remains were also kept for final darshan at her residence in Casa Grande, Lower Parel, allowing fans, well-wishers and members of the industry to pay their last respects. The iconic singer was bestowed with the Guard of Honour in the presence of fans, family and well-wishers. From Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood stars like Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan and Vicky Kaushal – several celebrities paid their final respects to Asha Tai.
