Ajay and Kajol met on the sets of Hulchul (1995), which marked the start of their romantic relationship. The pair married on February 24, 1999. They have effectively managed their personal and professional lives over the years. They are also parents to two children, Nysa and Yug.

Ajay, who most recently appeared in De De Pyaar De 2 with Rakul Preet Singh and R. Madhavan, is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Dhamaal 4. The film is now scheduled to hit theatres on July 3. This is the second time the drama’s premiere date has been pushed.
Dhamaal 4 directed by Indra Kumar, will have the popular franchise’s main cast, including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi. Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan will also join the cast this time.
Kajol was last seen in Sarzameen, co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Prior to that, she appeared in Maa, directed by Vishal Furia, alongside Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta and Kherin Sharma.
