Samantha Ruth Prabhu once again proved why she is a perennial fashion favorite, turning heads in a custom, unreleased ensemble by the designer duo Saaksha & Kinni. At an entertainment soiree, the actress
donned a floor-length, body-sculpting gown that accentuated her perfect figure while championing the deft work of this homegrown label.
A signature of Saaksha & Kinni, the dress had intricate micro-pleating, a texture that adds a dynamic, fluid movement to the garment.
What we loved most though was the abstract tiger-print pattern (because animal prints are back in vogue this year): The earthy palette of black, amber, and deep gold created a bold, “wild-yet-refined” aesthetic. Complementing the silhouette was the high neckline and ruffled, cap-sleeve structure which provided a structural edge that framed Samantha’s toned physique beautifully.
To complement the warm tones of the dress, Samantha opted for the iconic René Caovilla Cleo Sandals. These signature wrap-around stilettos, encrusted with crystals, added a touch of stardust to her walk. Her jewelry was kept minimal but impactful, featuring gold statement rings and delicate drop earrings that let the bold print of the dress remain the focal point.
Keeping with the sleek vibe of the outfit, her hair was styled in a center-parted, bone-straight look, falling elegantly over her shoulders. Her makeup featured a bronzed, dewy base with a soft smoky eye and a neutral nude lip, echoing the sophisticated, “desert-luxe” mood of the evening.
Bapu Bomma
Samantha had also recently shared a fresh set of images from her ‘Bapu Bomma’ series as part of promotions for her upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaaram.
Posting the pictures on Instagram on March 18, Samantha described the series as “an ode to the artist who made softness powerful and simplicity unforgettable,” reflecting the aesthetic of the legendary Bapu style, known for its delicate, feminine visual language. For the photoshoot, Samantha chose a handwoven yellow cotton kasavu saree with green borders, blending tradition with modern minimalism. The saree, custom-created by the label Rouka by Sreejith Jeevan, is priced at approximately ₹7,725 and is part of the Rouka X Care4Chendamangalam collaboration.
