Online grocery delivery applications have emerged as a convenient way to get what you need at your doorstep. But there are often complaints about missing products, damaged goods or late deliveries. While
the complaints are often reported on social media, in the latest a man shared how he was quite happy with one of his deliveries as it was thoughtfully packed.
The user shared, “Most quick commerce brands don’t have a speed problem. They have a common sense problem. Ordered from Zepto today. What stood out to me: tomatoes on top & HIT spray packed separately. No crushed veggies. No chemical perfume salad. This is what ops maturity looks like. Not ads. Not billboards. Basic thinking.” The picture showed two paper bags. The first one contained mosquito repellants while the other contained all food items. The vegetables were carefully placed on top so as to avoid getting them damaged.

What The Internet Thinks?
Other app users started sharing their experience soon enough. A person hilariously noted, “Someone ordered chocolates for me and paid extra for gift packs. The chocolates and the gift pack arrived separately in a generic blinkit paper bag. “ Another person said, “Maybe they have learnt with time. Previously Zepto has sent Harpic and Potato together, detergent and chips together. Nightmare.”
Zepto As Alarm?
Some time back, a man in Mumbai used Zepto as a “emergency alarm clock” to ensure his sister didn’t miss a 6 a.m. flight after turning off her phone. Rather than driving 40 minutes from Parel to Powai at 3 a.m., Rishabh Agarwal placed a grocery order at 3:20 a.m. and instructed the delivery partner to ring the doorbell to rouse her. The delivery partner arrived at the location by 3:30 a.m., barely 10 minutes after the order was placed, and even stayed on the phone with the family for 10 minutes to ensure the sister was awake and safe.
