CLAT 2026 Result Date: The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will announce the CLAT 2026 results on December 17. The results are likely to be released by 10 am on the official website, an official said.
Once declared, candidates will be able to check their CLAT 2026 results at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 was held on December 7 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating colleges across the country.
This year, around 92,000 candidates registered for the exam. Of these, nearly 75,009 appeared for the undergraduate test, while 17,335 candidates took the postgraduate exam.
CLAT 2026 Result: How To Check?
Candidates can download their CLAT 2026 scorecard by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the CLAT 2026 result link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your registered mobile number and password.
Step 4: Submit the details.
Step 5: The CLAT 2026 result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
The CLAT scorecard will contain important details including the candidate’s name, parents’ names, roll number, application number, marks secured, overall rank and category-wise rank.

CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern: UG And PG
Both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates appeared for 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Undergraduate (UG) CLAT 2026
- Total questions: 120
- Sections: English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques
- Marking scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer, –0.25 mark for each wrong answer
Postgraduate (PG) CLAT 2026
- Total questions: 120
- Subjects included core law areas such as Constitution, Contract Law, Jurisprudence, IPC, Torts and others
- Marking scheme: Same as UG
