Sharvari’s impressive run in the film industry appears to be gaining further momentum. She was recently seen in Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ alongside Vedang Raina, and she is being lauded for
her performance. Following the positive response to the film, and with major projects such as Alpha and Sooraj Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya in the pipeline, the actress is now being considered for another interesting film. As per reports, filmmaker Luv Ranjan is exploring the possibility of casting Sharvari opposite Kartik Aaryan in his upcoming directorial venture.
Sharvari Being Considered For Luv Ranjan’s Next?
According to Bollywood Hungama, discussions are still at an early stage. Sharvari is believed to be enthusiastic about the opportunity and keen to collaborate with the director. A source told the entertainment portal, “Luv Ranjan is in talks with Sharvari to play the female lead of his next, which features Kartik Aaryan in the lead. Sharvari has shown excitement, and is looking forward to collaborating with Luv Ranjan, the man behind some of the best Gen-Z films of the last 10 years.”
While no official agreements have been signed yet, the final casting decision will be made once the script is locked and narrations are completed. However, there is optimism on both sides regarding the potential collaboration.
According to sources, the project is currently in the writing phase, with Ranjan taking his time to develop the screenplay before moving ahead with casting formalities. “Luv is still writing the script and intends to roll with his directorial by December 2026. He will narrate his full film to Kartik first, followed by Sharvari towards August 2026. The paperwork will begin once the full narration is done,” said the source.
If all goes as planned, the film could go on floors towards the end of 2026.
Meanwhile, Sharvari is gearing up for the release of Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt. The teaser and poster of the film were unveiled a few days ago, further adding to the excitement for the film. Directed by Shiv Rawail of The Railway Men fame, Alpha also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the action thriller is scheduled to hit theatres on July 3, 2026.
