An eight-year-old child prodigy stole the spotlight at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, drawing attention for his articulate views on artificial intelligence and India’s technological future.
Speaking at the summit, Ranvir Sachdeva, described as a technologist and global author, said he was attending as the youngest keynote speaker at the event. “I’m here as the youngest keynote speaker at the India AI Impact Summit. I’m talking about how I’m linking ancient Indian philosophies to modern-day technologies,” he said.

Ranvir added that his address focused on how different nations are approaching artificial intelligence and how India is carving its own path in AI development. “I’m talking about how India is building AI with. I’m sharing my own use case of an Indian AI model just released and how I’m contributing to India’s GDP and driving AI literacy with it,” he said.
Despite being only eight years old, Ranvir spoke confidently about innovation, indigenous AI models and the importance of technological self-reliance. His participation at the high-profile summit drew praise on social media, with many lauding his confidence and grasp of complex subjects at such a young age.
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 brought together policymakers, industry leaders, technologists and innovators to discuss India’s growing role in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
