Looks like Salman Khan will be making a special appearance in Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2. Recently, a photo of the Bollywood superstar surfaced on social media, which left everyone believing that the actor
has been shooting for Aditya Dhar’s directorial. While some believe the images could be morphed or AI-generated, others suggest that Salman might have a cameo in the movie.
Neither the actor nor the makers of the film have confirmed the reports as of now. However, several media reports also claim that Salman Khan is likely to play the role of ‘Bade Sahab’ in Dhurandhar 2. Reportedly, makers planned to get him onboard to make the sequel bigger than the original movie.

Dhurandhar 2 Teaser Out
On Tuesday, Ranvbeer Singh took to his Instagram handle and dropped a teaser of the upcoming sequel. The teaser features several glimpses of Ranveer Singh’s Hamza as he fights India’s enemies in Pakistan. He is also heard saying, “Yeh Naya Hindustan hai Yeh ghar mein ghusega bhi Aur maarega bhi.” The clip also showcases glimpses of Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt.
Earlier in the day, Singh also unveiled the first poster and title of the much-anticipated second instalment. The striking poster presented Singh in a dramatically transformed avatar from the first film. Standing centre-frame in a black trench coat with his hair loose against a blazing red backdrop, he appeared explosive and menacing. Brimming with intensity, the visual signalled higher stakes, fiercer action, and a far more ruthless chapter ahead.
What Do We Know About Dhurandhar 2?
After the massive success of Dhurandhar, everyone is now eagerly waiting for the film’s sequel, which will hit theatres on March 19. Last month, the CBFC cleared the first promotional glimpse of the sequel, granting it an A (Adults Only) certificate. The teaser’s approved runtime stands at 1 minute and 48 seconds, signalling a sharp, intense preview that stays true to the franchise’s gritty action-thriller tone.
It should also be noted that Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, will hit theatres on March 19, 2026. This means that the film will clash at the box office with Yash’s most-awaited movie, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups. Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s Dacoit will also be released on the same day.
