Manisha Koirala made her grand OTT debut with Heeramandi by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and since then, it’s been 2 years that we have been awaiting an announcement about her next project, and finally, now
it feels like the wait is over. As per an update, Koirala has signed another project. The veteran actress has started working on her next film, Raazdar, backed by Arbaaz Khan.
As per a Bollywood Hungama source, “Manisha Koirala’s stint in Heeramandi was quite loved, and she was flooded with offers. However, the actress was clear that she wanted to only take up author-backed roles and work with like-minded people. She was in advanced talks for a film featuring a young actor, but it didn’t materialize; the film was also shelved later. Meanwhile, Raazdar came her way, and it ticked all the boxes for her. That’s how she signed the film.”
As per BO Worldwide, Raazdar went on the floors earlier this year. The team began with a 25-day shoot schedule in Bhopal before heading to Mumbai for a 10-day shoot. The film, backed by Arbaaz Khan under his production house, will see Manisha alongside him and Bhuvan Arora of Farzi fame. Bhuvan had confirmed his role in the film while speaking to HT; the actor shared, “I was working with Arbaaz Khan (in Raazdar), and he also guided me on how to make it easier for the mother, which is the top priority.”
