However, ahead of its release, speculation around Salman Khan making a surprise cameo in the film began doing the rounds on social media. The buzz had left fans wondering whether the superstar would appear in the upcoming comedy. Now, fresh reports have clarified that Salman is not a part of Welcome To The Jungle.

Despite the chatter online, Salman Khan will not be seen in Welcome To The Jungle. According to Pinkvilla, a source close to the development has dismissed the reports of the superstar’s cameo in the film.
The source said, “Salman is currently occupied with other professional commitments and does not feature in the upcoming comedy entertainer.” The insider further clarified, “The ongoing speculation regarding his involvement is entirely false.”
The clarification comes days before the film’s release, as rumours around surprise appearances and last-minute additions had begun gathering steam online. With Salman’s name now ruled out, the focus returns to the film’s already packed ensemble cast.
What Sparked Salman Khan’s Cameo Rumours?
The speculation reportedly started after actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek, who plays a role in Welcome To The Jungle, was spotted interacting with the paparazzi on the sets of Laughter Chefs. During the interaction, he was asked about reports of Salman Khan appearing in the film.
As per reports, Krushna’s response appeared to suggest that audiences could expect some kind of surprise in the movie. This fuelled chatter online, with fans speculating that Salman might be making a special appearance in the Ahmed Khan directorial.
However, the latest clarification has put the rumour to rest. Salman Khan is not making a cameo in Welcome To The Jungle.

Salman Khan’s Work Front
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy with director Vamshi Paidipally’s action entertainer. The actor is also expected to begin work on Raj and DK’s film by October 2026.
Reports have also claimed that Salman is in talks with Farhan Akhtar for a large-scale period drama. The proposed film is expected to be backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and may go on floors in the summer of 2027.
For now, while Salman’s upcoming slate continues to draw attention, fans hoping to see him in Welcome To The Jungle will have to wait for another project. The actor is not a part of the Akshay Kumar-led comedy entertainer.
