Guess who just got hold of one of Bollywood’s most iconic pieces of painting? None other than actor Vijay Varma. And the painting in question isn’t just any other artwork. It is the masterpiece made by
Anil Kapoor’s character, Majnu Bhai, in the 2007 cult comedy Welcome. The painting, which shows a donkey on a horse’s back, has lived rent-free in the hearts of movie buffs, and now, it has found a new admirer in the Dahaad actor.
Taking to his Instagram account on Thursday, September 4, Vijay shared a post where he was seen sitting right in front of the iconic painting and taking pictures. Dressed in a simple grey T-shirt and jeans, the 39-year-old was seen smiling ear-to-ear as he posed for pictures. In one video in the carousel, someone from behind the camera said, “50,000 dollars”, which left him in splits. The other pictures captured his joy of sitting right in front of the painting, which was signed by Anees Bazmee, the director of Welcome.

Sharing my moment with the most iconic painting from Bollywood.. no painting has ever brought this much joy to us @aneesbazmee sir @anilskapoor sir respect.
