World No. 1 ODI batter Rohit Sharma is playing for Mumbai in their Vijay Hazare Trophy opener against Sikkim in Jaipur. In the match taking place at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, the 38-year-old batter needed

just 62 balls to complete his century. He has hammered 8 fours and 8 sixes so far.

Rohit completed his century in the 21st over of the run chase by taking a single.

The former India captain, who last played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Mumbai in 2018, added 141 runs in 19.4 overs for the first wicket with Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who made 38 runs from 58 balls.

Rohit, who is likely to play only two matches for Mumbai, earlier completed his half-century in 27 balls.

Prior to this game, Rohit only had one century to his credit in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, which he slammed on his Vijay Hazare Trophy debut in 2008.
