The Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh has released the preliminary answer keys of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or AP TET 2025. Candidates can access the answer key by visiting
the official website at aptet.apcfss.in. The last date to raise objection is December 24.
Candidates need to log in to the official portal with their application number and date of birth to access the answer key. The exam was conducted from December 10 and 11. Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their probable scores. To do so, one must be aware of the marking scheme — each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
AP TET 2025 Answer Key: How to Check and Raise Objection?
Step 1: Visit the official website of AP TET — aptet.apcfss.in.
Step 2: Click on the answer key link on the homepage. The question paper and answer keys of each paper will appear on the screen. Click on the required answer key to view the same. It will appear on the screen in a PDF format.
Step 3: To raise objection to the answer key, candidates need to enter the required credentials.
Step 4: Select the question you want to raise objection to. Submit substantial documents and pay the required fees. Submit.
Step 5: Download and keep a hard copy of the page for future reference.
AP TET 2025 Qualifying Marks
Each paper is 150 marks, and the minimum qualifying marks are:
60% for OC/EWS
50% for BC
40% for SC/ST/PwBD and ex-servicemen.
There are two papers in the exam. Candidates who qualify for paper 1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 and the candidates who clear paper 2 will be eligible to teach classes 6 to 8. The exam is held for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. It consists of 150 MCQs. Paper 1 is divided into five sections — child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, mathematics, and environmental studies. A total of 30 MCQs worth one mark are included in each section. Paper 2 is divided into five sections — child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, and subjects relating to the elected stream. There are 30 multiple-choice questions in the first three sections and 60 in the final segment.
