About Border 2 Trailer
The trailer of Border 2 opens on a commanding note with Sunny Deol addressing his troops, reminding them that the border is not merely a geographical line but a sacred promise to the nation. From there, the trailer shifts gears, showcasing Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty stationed across different wings of India’s armed forces — the Army, Air Force, and Navy. Explosive combat sequences are intercut with quieter, more intimate moments from the soldiers’ personal lives, underlining the cost of duty and the sacrifices made far from the battlefield. The visuals are expansive, gritty, and rooted in realism, evoking both nostalgia and renewed urgency.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is the sequel to J. P. Dutta’s iconic 1997 war film Border. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. Along with Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, the film also features Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana in supporting roles.
Border 2 is slated for a theatrical release on January 23, strategically timed for the Republic Day weekend.
