The month of love is here! Valentine’s Week kick-started with the Rose Day on February 7 and will continue until this weekend, with people gearing up to celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14. Amid ongoing
celebrations, scenes from the Delhi Metro have started doing the rounds on the internet.
In a viral video, several commuters can be seen carrying rose and flower bouquets for their loved ones, as they marked Rose Day. The clip highlights flowers in different shades, ranging from yellow and red to pink and blue.

Delhi Metro never disappoints when it comes to creating buzz on social media. Known for its hustle and bustle, the latest visuals highlight how people from different age groups, including both men and women, can be seen enjoying the Valentine’s Week.
The clips show multiple people, especially boys and girls, carrying beautiful flowers and bouquets in different colours.

Since being posted on the social media platform, the video has garnered more than 4.6 million views and close to 3.10 lakh likes, drawing mixed reactions from the internet users.
In the comments section of the Instagram post, one person wrote, “Delhi wale kuch jyda hi western culture adopt krne m tez h (Delhiites are quick in adopting western culture).”
Another added, “Love is in the air”.
A third person commented that the scenes from Delhi Metro look “damn so beautiful”. One of them even stated that “this is the India we need”.
A few of them even highlighted that the situation was quite similar in other metro cities as well/
“Kolkata metro too. Yesterday I saw so many people carrying flowers,” a person wrote.

This began with Rose Day, a celebration of expressing emotions through roses, on February 7.
This is followed by Propose Day on February 8, which is all about confessing love and taking emotional leaps.
On Monday, February 9, couples around the world are celebrating Chocolate Day. On this day, these exchange chocolates to show their love, affection and care for each other.
After this comes the Teddy Day on February 10, celebrating the softer, more tender side of love.
Promise Day is on February 11 and is all about making heartfelt commitment. Post that, February 12 will be marked as Hug Day that is all about comfort and deepen intimacy.
Kiss Day comes on February 13, with couples celebrating intimacy and emotional connection.
Finally, the day of love – Valentine’s Day – arrives on February 14.
