Prabhas is currently working on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming movie, Spirit. On Thursday, the actor, who does not post much on social media otherwise, took to his Instagram stories and sent birthday wishes
to Vanga. He dropped an unseen picture of the filmmaker from their upcoming movie’s set and referred to Spirit.
“Happy Birthday Bro…Can’t wait for everyone to witness what you’re creating,” Prabhas wrote.
Besides Prabhas, Vivek Oberoi, who is also a part of Spirit, also took to his X handle to send birthday wishes to Vanga. “Happy Birthday brother @imvangasandeep! Wishing you a day full of raw emotions and zero censorship. Thank you for all the love and respect you’ve always given Dad and me, you’re more than our director!” he wrote.

What Do We Know About Spirit?
Spirit, starring Prabhas in the lead role, is touted to feature the Baahubali actor in a never-before-seen avatar of an angry young police officer who locks horns with a mafia syndicate. If the buzz is anything to go by, the upcoming action drama will be one of Prabhas’ most intense roles, with Sandeep’s incredible direction adding appeal to the drama.
In the one-minute audio teaser of the movie, released in five Indian languages earlier this year, a jailer and his assistant were seen talking about an ex-cop in remand. While the jailer was then seen giving instructions to the assistant, the latter asked him to maintain decorum. The jailer then asked his assistant to strip off the prisoner. In the end of the sound teaser, we heard Prabhas’ voice saying, “Sir, since childhood, I have one bad habit.” He then repeated, “Right from childhood, I have one bad habit.”
Initially, the film was reported to be starring Deepika Padukone as the female co-lead but the actress walked out of the project due to failed negotiations. After her exit, Triptii was roped in to play the lead, marking her Telugu cinema debut.
