According to the latest Sacnilk report, Dhurandhar has officially crossed the Rs 1,000 crore gross mark at the Indian box office after 53 days of release. Box office estimates from Sacnilk indicate that in its eighth week, the film earned around Rs 1.35 crore over the weekend, holding strong against the new military drama Border 2, which pulled in an impressive Rs 177 crore over the Republic Day weekend.
Dhurandhar: Cast
Dhurandhar is a high-octane action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It is inspired by real-life events involving National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The film depicts the daring and covert actions of Indian special agents in Pakistan. Ranveer Singh stars as a fearless covert spy with a gruff, long-haired look and a fierce temperament. The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Sara Arjun.
Dhurandhar: Storyline
Dhurandhar follows Jaskirat Singh, a death-row convict granted one last chance at redemption by Indian intelligence chief Ajay Sanyal. Jaskirat is recruited for a challenging long-term infiltration mission into Karachi’s violent Lyari sector, where he assumes the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. As Hamza climbs the ranks of a deadly network involving ISI officer Major Iqbal and notorious Baloch gang leader Rehman Dakait, what starts as a covert operation quickly descends into a harrowing dive into organised crime. When Hamza becomes romantically involved with Yalina, the daughter of a senior politician, the mission turns into a race against time to thwart devastating terror attacks on Indian soil.
