Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is slated to be one of the most anticipated rom-coms, and it looks like there’s happy news for moviegoers eagerly waiting for its release.
The makers of the Kartik and Ananya starrer have locked a new release date for the film. The movie, which was slated to release on December 31, will now hit the screens a few days earlier, on the occasion of Christmas.
Taking to his Instagram account, Kartik Aaryan shared the fresh poster and wrote, “I am coming again! This time CHRISTMAS 25th DECEMBER 🔥🎄TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri 💕✈️.” In the poster, the actor can be seen lifting Ananya Panday on his back as both leads beam with joy.

As soon as the poster was dropped, fans began reacting to it. One wrote, “Ye news sunane ke baad I am so happy.” Another commented, “And we are waitingggggggggggggggg 😍❤️ Last year Diwali was the best and this year New Year will be the best.” A third fan wrote, “Tu Meri Main Tera… another blockbuster loading! Earlier, Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram with a fun picture of himself and Ananya Panday dancing on a bar counter during the film’s shoot. Sharing the post, Kartik announced that the film would hit theatres on December 31, 2025, with the caption, “Your last day of the year is with us… The year ends but love begins.”
About the film
Directed by National Award-winner Sameer Vidwans, the film promises a simple, heartfelt story set against a visually engaging backdrop. Produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, the project is backed by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, and Bhumika Tewari. Releasing on Christmas Eve, the film aims to offer audiences a light-hearted love story.
Kartik and Ananya first collaborated in the 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh, where their on-screen pairing garnered significant attention. Their camaraderie was evident during promotional events and interviews, leading fans and media to speculate about a possible off-screen romance. In 2022, during an appearance on Koffee with Karan, host Karan Johar hinted at their rumoured relationship. Ananya’s mother, Bhavana Panday, was also asked about her daughter’s on-screen pairings, to which she responded that Ananya and Kartik looked the best together.
