Amitabh Bachchan penned down a cryptic note on his blog on Saturday and left netizens worried. The veteran Bollywood actor talked about changing times and expressed his views on how people also change
with time.
“Times change the World changes .. attitudes, habits change, culture changes .. people change .. they that were then, are not now .. and soon they that are ‘now’ shall in time be in reference of the ‘then’ (sic),” he wrote.
Big B then talked about how there’s no point dwelling on the past and added, “Lamentations from the ‘then’ keep echoing in the times of now… they shall simply remain a memory. Let them be in memory. Lamenting upon it shall be an exertive waste upon your system, attuned to ‘then’. Respect and enjoy it — they were such a delight ‘then’ (sic).”
Amitabh Bachchan then revisited the wisdom of his father, legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and shared some verses. He explained that these lines hold relevance even today and wrote, “After so many many years of its writing , it still reverberates and has meaning .. that be the vision and depth of the Poet and his Poetry ..the old , say the old , listen to the new .. the new say the new , listen to the old… (sic).”
Amitabh Bachchan Pays Tribute To Piyush Pandey
On Friday, Amitabh Bachchan also mourned the loss of Piyush Pandey via his blog and addressed him as “a creative genius, a most amiable friend, and guide.” “A creative genius… a most amiable friend, and guide… has left us… No words to express our grief… Piyush Pandey passed away this morning… The creative works left behind by him shall ever be an eternal emblem of his immeasurable creativity,” he wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan’s Upcoming Film: Section 84
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is awaiting the release of his courtroom thriller drama Section 84. Made under the direction of Ribhu Dasgupta, the film also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Nimrat Kaur. Besides this, Amitabh will also reprise his role as Ashvatthama in Nag Ashwin’s upcoming Kalki 2. Set in the year 2898 AD, the film blends sci-fi with ancient mythology. The shooting is expected to begin in December.
